City Founder
I created this game a few years ago to experiment with the possibilities of PuzzleScript.
I really don't know if anyone could be interested in it, or if it's understandable at all.
There is an in-game tutorial but feel free to ask for details in the comments if needed. I will eventually add some informations here later.
The game don't have any ending. It's all about building a town and seeing it grow in terms of population, money and resources.
Some basic rules:
- a building must be connected to a Power Plant to work. It is connected by other building or roads
- you will never be able to build on mountains or to destroy mountains. You have to deal with them. That's the idea ;).
- The landscape is randomly generated and the map is pretty large (you can scroll by moving the in-game cursor to the sides of the screen)
- banks produce money, factories make food, house make population (involving food). These resources lies on the landscape, where it is produced, you can't pick them up.
- the seasonal cycle has an influence on production.
- After a while, you'll meet the thieves. Dressed in black, they travel the roads stealing any coins they find along the way.
